Knowing the ease and joy of working with one another, we have long dreamed of co-creating and leading a retreat - and we’re finally doing it!

When we met to imagine its structure, we used an oracle deck that has often accompanied our collaborative work. Two cards that presented themselves were Key and Heaven.

“Is it presumptuous to call our retreat ‘Keys to Heaven’?” we wondered.

Then we remembered: the keys to heaven are within us, even if we sometimes struggle to access them. When we slow down enough to give our attention to the tastes, sights, sounds, and feelings of the present, we can experience heaven. Sharing these delights with others expands the possibilities of earthly-heavenly experiences!

And so, we invite you to join us for our

Keys to Heaven retreat. 

Keys to Heaven is the invitation to

slow down

to the pace of savoring.

Allow your whole self to be nourished

for three days and two nights

on the beautiful grounds of

the Loretto Community in Nerinx, Kentucky

(a little more than an hour from Louisville).

The details:

Keys to Heaven is from Friday, October 27th at 6:30 pm through Sunday, October 29th at 2:00 pm in the Academy Building and includes:

• Sessions to explore the keys to heaven that lie within you

• A guided process to create an art piece to remind you of heaven’s play

• Intentional walks

• Community-building

• Time for personal reflection

• Delicious vegetarian meals

The meals included are dinner Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday; breakfast and lunch Sunday. All meals will be vegetarian and delicious.

We value this experience at $555 for a single room (5 available), $475 per person for a double room (2 rooms/4 beds available), and $395 per person for a room that may be shared by up to 5 people (5 available).

If you would like to participate and this cost is a stretch, a payment plan can be offered or a partial scholarship may be available. Please reach out so we can consider the options together.
