Online Workshop- Mapping Life: Looking Back on 2025

Would you like a broad perspective on the last year?

Will consciously closing the year help you to move into the new year with a clean slate?

Do you understand things better when you can see them?

Mapping Life: Looking Back on 2025 offers a Compassionate Communication framework for examining the past year with intention. The workshop will include a guided meditation, short teaching of the framing, and guidelines to create your map. Then you’ll have ample time to work on your map, looking back over the year and seeing where you want to consciously close the year and where you want to practice openness in 2026.

Through this visual mapping you will:

  • see more clearly the places you experienced abundance and scarcity in 2025

  • understand the needs and values that have motivated you to action or depleted you of energy

  • begin to explore ways you can address needs that are not currently being met

This workshop will be recorded. The recording will be available for 4 weeks after the workshop.

The suggested contribution is $44. This workshop is offered in the spirit of the gift. All are welcome to attend at any contribution level, including attending for free. If you choose, make a contribution through Venmo (@hartcommunication) or Zelle (cory@corylockhart.com)

This workshop has an in-person partner workshop, Mapping Life: Moving Forward in 2026, on January 2, 2026 at 2:00pm ET. You may choose to attend one or both workshops.

In-person Workshop- Mapping Life: Moving Forward in 2026

Are you ready for a fresh start in 2026?

Would you like an opportunity to see where you are- what your personal starting line is as you begin the year?

Do you understand things better when you can see them?

Mapping Life: Moving Forward in 2026 offers a Compassionate Communication framework to clearly see your starting point as you begin the year and consider how you want to move through the year. The workshop will include a guided meditation, short teaching of the framing, and guidelines to create your map. Then you’ll have ample time to work, looking at where you are and beginning to make plans for steps you want to take in the coming year so that you thrive!

Through this visual mapping you will:

  • see more clearly where you are now

  • understand the needs and values that you want to tend to in 2026

  • make plans for action steps to meet those needs, noting steps you can take on your own and where/how you can get support

Toward the end of the second hour, you will have a chance to hear and share insights discovered during the process. You’ll also receive guiding questions for further reflection.

This in-person workshop includes all supplies and light refreshements and will be hosted at The St. Catherine, 729 E. St. Catherine, 40203.

The suggested standard contribution is $55. This workshop is offered on a sliding scale from $22 to $77, with a lower contribution suggested for those with fewer means and a higher contribution suggested for those who can pay it forward. Send your contribution through Venmo (@hartcommunication), Zelle (cory@corylockhart.com), or bring cash to the workshop.

Can We Talk? Tools for Difficult Conversations

Many of us feel the divisiveness of our time. We long to talk about issues and topics that are important to us with people- especially family members and friends- who may see things differently, but we’re afraid that doing so will break connection and create irreparable discord.

How do we move from “us” and “them” to a sense of shared vision?

This 2-hour online workshop introduces a framework for finding connection in challenging conversations, tailored for difficult conversations in the workplace, at home, and in daily life. Learn to identify, honor, and express yourself with clarity, honesty, and integrity. Using these strategies opens possibilities for win-win outcomes.

- Learn to honor your experience and express yourself with clarity, honesty, and integrity.
- Learn to listen for the deeper meaning beneath others’ experiences.
- Using these strategies opens possibilities for win-win collaborations.

The workshop includes:
- Key concepts of Compassionate Communication
- A step-by-step written practice
- Modeling of the practices
- Skills and resources to use immediately

Recording of the webinar is provided to all who register.

Cost: $40 with sliding scale available.
Location: Zoom link provided to those who register.
Registration Deadline: October 8, 2025

The Artist's Way Fall 2025

I am a creative work in progress. Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way, a 12-week process of creative recovery, has been an instrumental tool in helping me get out of my own way. I've gone through the process multiple times by myself and accompanied groups through it

Each time the process has been rich and led to new discoveries, insights, and steps on the creative path. Each time I have deepened my self-understanding and expanded my creative practices. Journeying through The Artist’s Way with others has amplified the elements of play, depth, curiosity, and inspiration. I am excited to share The Artist’s Way with others again.

If you are looking for a reset...

If you are wanting to connect with play and wonder...

If you are longing for deep connections with yourself and others...

Join me starting in August as we explore The Artist's Way.

Self-Compassion for People Pleasers: 6-week Summer Series

Have you spent most of your life as a people pleaser, attentive to the needs of everyone except yourself?

Do you feel guilty even for having needs?

Do you say “yes” to requests when your internal answer is actually “no” and find yourself resentful and frustrated for doing so because you have no time for yourself?

Do you hear people talking about self-compassion and think it sounds like a far-off dream?

If you are feeling exhausted, frustrated, overwhelmed, and disconnected from yourself…

If you are wanting to reclaim time and space for you, your needs, your wants…

Join me for this 6-week series.

In this series, you’ll:

  • Have dedicated time to set aside everyone else’s needs and tune into your mind, your heart, your body and your needs, creating a greater sense of balance

  • Learn tools that help you stay connected with yourself so you can move from exhaustion to empowerment

  • Practice speaking up for yourself, aligning your internal voice with your external words and actions

  • Find self-care strategies that work for you, so you don’t find yourself running on empty

This series includes:

  • Mindfulness practices

  • Compassionate Communication skills

  • Body awareness tools

  • Being in community with others who know these struggles as intimately as you

Class dates: June 18 & 25, (no class July 2), July 9, 16, 23, and 30. In order to make this process both accessible to more people and sustainable for me, I offer it on a sliding scale:

  • $280- Support 1 Rate adds support for Cory’s sustainability and her ability to develop ideas and activities that are not paid through classes or workshops.

  • $235- Standard Rate reflects the true cost of the program. Register by May 31 using the coupon code PPEB for the Early Bird discount of $25 off!

  • $190- Discounted Rate is for those who sometimes struggle with limited financial resources and would benefit from support. This level has limited spots.

  • $150- Scholarship Rate supports those experiencing financial hardship; this level has limited spots and will open once there are 6 Standard and/or Support registrations. Want to be notified when these open? Contact Cory here.
